This privacy policy applies to the BizCatchUp app (hereby referred to as “Application”) for mobile devices that was created by BizCatchUp (hereby referred to as “Service Provider”) as a Commercial service. This service is intended for use “AS IS”

  • Personal Information: When you register or log in via email or Google OAuth, we collect your email address and username. This information is used to create your account, manage your preferences, and provide secure access to the Application.
  • Scanned Data: When you use the camera or gallery to scan business cards, the Application utilizes OCR (Optical Character Recognition) and Document Intelligence Azure Service to detect and extract data from the cards. The scanned data is securely stored in Google Cloud to facilitate contact management and integration with CRM tools.
  • Device Information: The Application collects information about your device, including the Internet Protocol (IP) address, operating system, and device identifiers. This information is used to optimize the Application’s performance and ensure compatibility with different devices.
  • Usage Information: We collect information about how you interact with the Application, such as the pages you visit, the time and date of your visits, the time spent on each page, and the features you use. This information helps us understand user behavior, improve the Application’s functionality, and enhance user experience.
  • Reminder Notifications: When you schedule reminders for contacts, the Application collects the necessary information to send you timely notifications. This feature helps you stay organized and maintain effective communication with your business contacts.
The Service Provider does not gather precise information about the location of your mobile device. However, the Application may collect anonymized and aggregated location data to analyze user behavior and improve the overall performance of the Application. The Service Provider may use the information you provided to contact you from time to time to provide you with important information, required notices, and marketing promotions.

The Application offers a comprehensive suite of features and services designed to enhance your business networking and contact management experience:

  • Business Card Scanning: Utilize your mobile device’s camera or gallery to scan business cards. Our advanced OCR (Optical Character Recognition) and Document Intelligence Azure Service accurately detect and extract data from the scanned cards, ensuring seamless digitization of your business contacts.
  • CRM Integration: Seamlessly integrate with popular Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools such as Slack, Salesforce, and other platforms. This feature allows for effortless synchronization of contact information from the Application to these tools, ensuring your contact database is always up-to-date.
  • Reminder Notifications: Schedule reminder notifications for any contacts to ensure you follow up on important interactions. This feature helps you stay organized and maintain timely communication with your business contacts.
  • Secure Authentication: Log in to the Application securely using your email or Google OAuth. This provides a safe and convenient way to access your account while protecting your personal information.
  • Data Storage: All scanned data is securely stored in Google Cloud, leveraging robust security measures to protect your information. This ensures that your contact data is safe and accessible whenever you need it.
  • User-Friendly Interface: Enjoy a user-friendly and intuitive interface that makes managing your business contacts easy and efficient. Our design prioritizes usability, allowing you to quickly navigate through the Application’s features.
  • Regular Updates and Improvements: The Service Provider is committed to continuously improving the Application by providing regular updates and enhancements. We strive to incorporate user feedback and the latest technological advancements to deliver the best possible experience.

Third Party Access:

Only aggregated, anonymized data is periodically transmitted to external services to aid the Service Provider in improving the Application and their service. The Service Provider may share your information with third parties in the ways that are described in this privacy statement.

Disclosure of Information:

The Service Provider may disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected Information:

You can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling it. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network.

Children:

The Service Provider does not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13. The Application does not address anyone under the age of 13. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. In the case the Service Provider discovers that a child under 13 has provided personal information, the Service Provider will immediately delete this from their servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact the Service Provider (support@bizcatchup.com) so that they will be able to take the necessary actions.

Security:

The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. The Service Provider provides physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information the Service Provider processes and maintains.

Changes:

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes to the Privacy Policy by updating this page with the new Privacy Policy. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.
